Happy Mother's Day!!

My sweetheart got me the perfect present for Mother's Day, and while some women may not understand it's appeal, I knew that all of my wonderful readers would!
It's a Rowenta Focus - 1700 watts of steam pressing power!!  I'd never have spent this much on an iron for myself, but I've wanted a nice one for some time.  Look at all those teeny steam holes!!  Aaah.  Life is good.

ha!! I WANT one! I can't ever get The Husband to believe me when I say I want these types of things for my birthday or Christmas or whatever. He has a recurring flashback to the year he was ten, in which his father rather unwisely bought his mother a set of new pots and pans for Christmas. Let's just say she wasn't thrilled. :-) I'd say this was a wonderful present, smart Mitch!

Got one! Love it!!!!!!!!!! It will change your life. When we were registering for wedding gifts, someone in the store told us this was more important than anything else to get. So we did and boy are we glad! You'll be sooooooo pleased.

I love practical and fanciful gifts. I just love gifts. I got a Nook (Kindle) this year from Barnes and Noble points Don has been saving. Woohoo!

Awesome gift!!! One year my sweetie got me a new Honda rototiller that I can handle all by myself! My girlfriends thought it was an awful gift, but I adore it and think of him everytime I work in the garden!

beangirl: my husband (Katie's father), of 35 years does get me sewing machines, irons, pots and pans, etc. for Birthdays and Christmas -- but he always gets jewelry for the same occasion. Smart man.
