Did you notice?

The websites for the Big 3 just got an upgrade.

Vogue
McCall's
Butterick

I haven't really started surfing them yet to see how I feel, although my usual hatred of change is kicking in big time!  The down side?  All my links have to be updated...  Sigh.

On the plus side, I just noticed that Vogue has the new Spring patterns on the site.  I think I'll head over there and check them out.  After the colossal fail that was this Winter's line up, here's hoping for a better Spring...

So, what do you think of the change?

Ew, I don't think i like it either. Although I'm sure I'll get used to it. I definitely don't like the rollover images!

As far as the spring line, eh at a quick glance. That vintage apron is really nice though -- two places to fit it, might get a really nicely fitting apron for a change! thanks for the heads up!

I like it! Very much! The pictures are all bigger, clearer... Butterick always leaves me cold, but I see one McCall's dress I love, and a few very nice things in the new Vogues - like the Guy Laroche asymmetrical jacket 1155, though on me, the waist band would have to be narrower. It's a dress, but oh what a suit it would make!

I quickly falling in love with a few of those dresses from the new Spring line at Vogue. I think I might tackle V1161 for a wedding I have this spring. I think it'll be a challenge for me, but the end result could be really awesome!

I'm with Digs, I like the new format. It's bright, eye-catching, and still very user-friendly.
BTW: Kate, you should make the Belville Sassoon that is on the home page -- it would look great on you, you always look good in her designs.
You should make it in red silk shantung!!! With matching silk shoes, and a HUGE emerald on a chain, you are all set!

I don't adapt to change very well, like at all! When there's a life-altering change, it takes me years to accept it. I wish that the pattern companies would focus on updating their sizing instead of their website.

I hate to say it - because I hate change - but. . . .wait for it . . . I love it! I found their whole line of vintage patterns I didn't see before - and I like their new sizing and ease charts (including fabric conversions!). Exciting - thanks for the tip - I wouldn't have seen it except for this blog!
