Side - I am really wishing that I had just gone for the two piece sleeve. This one isn't as sleek as I'd like, but it was easy to match the plaids!
Back - The fit in the back is absolutely perfect. Can you tell there is a seam at CB? Mad skills...
Here is a close up of the trim, before it was sewn on.And, of course, what is a Chanel jacket without a chain? I got mine at Home Depot - Sh! Don't tell!

Your jacket turned out beautifully. Enjoy wearing it. Hope you had a great night out!
Your jacket looks great!! Wear it with great pride on your night out! We look forward to reading about it!
Great job!! You inspire me!
LOVE IT!!! You did an amazing job mathing the plaids. nice touch with the red lining as well. Just curious what your trim looks like? Ugh on the handwork. However, I am beginning to SLOWLY enjoy it...can't wait for the next project...
Thanks, ladies! Carrie, I added a picture of the trim.
Mad skills, indeed. This is totally cool! I am very jealous (I can't wear Chanel-style jackets at all) and this is very pretty. Although I can see that you might want the sleeves to be a bit slimmer, they look really good. You can just go with the two-piece sleeve on your next hand-sewn, custom-fit, all-around-couture jacket. You'll be starting on that next week, right?
I hope you had a great night on the town!
Great looking jacket!. I am sure you will wear it a lot.
I love the trim...For Tori's christmas dress I bought something similar for trim. I'm going all out this year now that she's walking, I can have the "nice" fabric hehehe. Her dress will be solid and her jacket will be the same fabric that I'm using for my niece's dress....can't wait to get started!!!
Job well done. Lovely chanel jacket.
A very smart jacket and beautifully sewn.
Thanks for the review. The jacket looks great on you. I plan on starting the jacket this weekend.
