Today I am wearing Butterick 5284 on top, which I also wore on Day 6. The skirt is Butterick 5042. This is such a fun skirt; I'm glad to be able to integrate it a little better in my wardrobe. I don't generally sew a lot of Butterick patterns, as their designs tend toward the boring, but they are good for basics.
ETA: Jess asked where I was going all dolled up. Ready for a laugh? Grocery shopping... And that was all. That's the exciting life of the SAHM!
Looking fancy. What were you up to in an outfit like that?
ReplyDeleteI love that skirt (again)!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really nice outfit - the top and skirt go together beautifully.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a fun skirt. You look very nice.
ReplyDeleteA few years ago I tried leaving the house "dressed up" for an entire week no matter where I went. It was pretty funny to hear Luca ask me in a very concerned voice "what party are you going to?" And I wasn't even as dressed up as you are today! Maybe I'll try doing that again. It sure feels good.
ReplyDeleteOK - that's another skirt pattern I have to have!
ReplyDeleteThis is really a very nice outfit! I'm actually just adding those patterns to my order :)
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic and good for you to dress up a little. Today I wore a skirt ,etc. and my husband asked me why I was dressed up. I said I just feel like dressing like a girl today.
ReplyDeleteIt made me feel like I was living back in the 60's.
What a wonderful skirt!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteno harm in dressing up just to go shopping, you never know where your day will take you! And you look so gorgeous in that skirt and blouse I hope you got at least one appreciative glance LOL.....
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit. I love that skirt.
ReplyDeleteWow you look so nice and I love that skirt! So, do you find the fit of Butterick patterns ok? I find that am veering away from Butterick, Simplicity, McCalls completely.
ReplyDeleteI think it's great you got all dolled up to hit the grocery store. Two thumbs up in my book!
